Looking from the stage into the empty audience at the royal theater, it becomes clear that there should be some sort of performance to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Theseus and Hippolyta. Perhaps Philostrate, aid to the royal duke, should have a play staged here. In the past, this theater has been used only seldomly, but given Hippolyta's affection for the theater, it is quite likely that it will see increased use in the near future. What an opportunity for aspiring Athenian actors!
