Standing in the middle of the main atrium is the library's front desk. Behind the desk stands the kind-looking librarian, so involved in his book that he hasn't noticed your approach. "Say" something to him if you want to get his attention. For example, if you would like to say hi, simply type "say hi".

You also see several bright-colored handouts lying on the desk with helpful information for navigating successfully through this virtual world and also the many other virtual worlds of Literary Worlds. Click on them to learn more! You should examine them all very carefully - they will guide you to success in the Shakespeare Learning Library.

There is also a candy dish sitting on the front desk. You are welcome to "open" the dish and "take" a candy! To do this you will need to use the "open" and "take" commands; first, type "open candy dish" and then hit enter. Next, type "take caramel from candy dish" (or whichever candy you choose).
