A long, narrow, shed-like space, lit only by small windows under the eaves of the high pitched roof.
There are beams piled in the back to use to support the hulls of boats being stored here.
There is a door that leads out to Shelter Bay and a wide wooden door, which fills the far end of the Boathouse, and can be opened to allow boats to be brought up the ramp from the Jetty in Shelter Bay.
On the back wall of the Boathouse there is a faded outline of what was once a painting of an ornate door complete with a real doorknob.
