This picture shows contemporary harpist Ann Heymann with what is believed to be the original Downhill harp of Dennis Hampson. The harp was made in 1702 by Cormac OKelly, presumably for a harper named C O DEVLIN (inscribed on the forepillar), and was purchased ca.1713 for Hampson by a Counsellor Canning in Gravagh. Today the harp is owned by the Guinness Brewery in Dublin where it currently can be seen on display.
