Kwajalein is an atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. First captured by the United States from the Japanese in "The Battle of Kwajalein" during World War II, the 6.33 square kilometer atoll is home to 1200 residents and the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site. Though Continental Airlines makes commercial flights to the island, it's not a tourist destination.
