Midsummer Madness
Midsummer Madness

The fantastical scenes and images of Shakespeare's most magical comedy, "A Midsummer Night's Dream", have excited actors and theatergoers, as well as artists, students, teachers, and nearly everyone else who has experienced the play for over four hundred years. It is impossible to count the number of times the play has been performed in that span, because a single performance can be as complex as a professional theater production, or as simple a youth's rendering one of its characters in crayon.

Because performance exists in the interaction between the work, in whatever form it may take, and the receiver of that work, every interaction between the play and its receiver constitutes elements of performance. New technologies have multiplied the different performance approaches that can be taken with any play and this particular environment that you are presently visiting is but one of those exciting and fresh ways in which modern audiences can experience the magic of "A Midsummer Night's Dream". While exploring, participants experience its classic scenes and images in fresh and exciting ways; they become actors, and the computer the stage on which the action takes place.
