Gold Alter Chalice
Gold Alter Chalice

This golden alter chalice is housed in the Pope's personal bedchamber. It is said to have been used to celebrate High Mass at the 100th year anniversary of Christ's cruxifiction, and is therefore considered a relic. The chalice was used only once, and has since been locked in a special glass case. The Pope has the key on his personal key chain, and this set of keys is passed down from Pope to Pope. In order to see what is in the chalice, you must ask the Pope to unlock the case. Getting an audience with the Pope is very difficult. Each year, the Pope replaces the picture inside with an updated photo of the youngest decendant of John Baker from Hamelin Town to keep alive the spirit of the Children's Crusade of the 13th century.
