The Town Square
Many medieval towns are built around a central gathering place, or a town square. Often times, the most important buildings in the town are found on the edges of the town square such as the church; the court house or mayors office; and primary shops of commerce.
You can leave the town square to enter any of the main commercial buildings and church. To access the homes of the towns people, however, you have to take a footpath because the houses are located one street over from the town square.
You will find, also, three Alleys that lead from the foot paths to the possible locations of the children such as the Alps for the Childrens Crusade; the Calvary Mountain; or Migrate to Eastern Europe.
