West Stow

West Stow Anglo-Saxon village is set in 125 acres of unspoilt countryside. The village (circa 420-650AD) has been carefully reconstructed on its original site.

In the new Anglo-Saxon centre objects from the village are displayed, telling the fascinating story of the settlement and the people who lived there.

Visitors can go into the houses, feel the solid wood, soft cloth and carefully-crafted furniture and imagine living in early Anglo-Saxon times.

Visit the pigs, watch the chickens, experience the open air life!
